    When we went to our room we found that we were on the same floor as a very loud hen party so asked to be moved. The Receptionist organised this very quickly which we appreciated.

    Could information about public transport in and around Manchester be made available? Restaurant food took a long time to arrive after order (about 30-40 mins) despite only one other couple being there.

    Clean and Tidy, near facilities and essentials supplied.

    The curtains were broken, the front room was unbearably hot and the window was broken, the air con unit didnt help.

    Staff were excellent, all of them were polite and courteous and we couldnt have asked for more. The room was great with all the facilities we need and a great added free extra was the internet! Excellent. Would definatley recommend and if I ever find myself in Manchester in the future I will be 100% staying at this hotel. Many thanks.

    I found the staff all to be very friendly and helpfull, Could'nt say a bad word about any of them inc night porters.

    Bar close early, thought maybe someone playing music to keep the people together for a sing song. But then i am Irish.

    Asked if it was possiable for an early check in and was told no without them even checking. Room was very dated, and the bathroom had a lot of mould. As the recption is not in the same building people were making excess noise and banging on doors after a late night out

    The hotel receptionist was very pleasent

    This is the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stopped in there were two very large cobwebs one on the window and one of over the door which must have been a year old. The room was fusty and the spare pillow had a case with stains on it. The bathroom had 3 dead flies in it and dust which has formed into grease in areas. We also had the hotel lights outside beaming into the room above the curtain rail. Very dusty wardrobe and 2 coathangers were missing and a light bulb We were also awakened at 9am by the cleaner! Walls were also dirty and patched up with paint

    -kurzer Weg in die City -guter Preis bei Buchung ohne Frühstück -problemloser Check-inn/-out -top Personal -preiswerte Frühstücksmöglichkeit im Supermarkt gegenüber (auch English Breakfast)

    -recht hoher Frühstückspreis -das direkte Umfeld ist nicht wirklich hübsch

    "A good priced stay, with a good breakfast, good TV and wifi. Not a very interesting side of town, but not far out by car. Only complaint was the noise from the people in the room above us." (108514648)

    Amazing price (£24) and free wifi. TV was on the blink to begin with and receptionist got it fixed immediately.

    Noise of group of lads in room above us came through floor for a lot of the night. So, if the hotel is not totally full (and I think it wasn't) I recommend not putting parties in rooms directly above each other if it can be avoided. Not parties of loud blokes with elephants feet, leastways.

    there is a security door which leads to the rooms and the reception give you a code to get in but the latch of the lock is cellotape in the open position which kind of defeats the purpose.

    Bad smell in bathroom-musty, sewage like. Kettle had to be held down on stand to boil.Very noisy other guests.No spare pillows in the room had to walk outside to reception.

    About a fifteen minute walk into Manchester - so for the price - a good location. Bathrooms clean and in good working order. Good room heating user controllable. Secure car park - left car after checking out to continue exploring city. Would use again if in town.

    The gotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

    I felt the room was too small and the price i paid was too much for the room. There should have been extra pillows in the room.

    "The hotel does exactly what it says on the tin , no frills. if i was staying in manchester for a longer period of time i would have to think about a perhaps more comfortable hotel with more seating areas. other than that it does the job." (108440705)

    Staff were very friendly and helpful.

    The hotel bar needed to be a bit more comfortable, maybe a couple of sofas.Just a few more soft furnishings to make you want to stay in the bar area. The bar closed at 11.00 oclock which was fair enough, but say for example you had come back late to the hotel and fancied a night cap,you couldn't have one.

    Room poor on ground floor. Bath chipped. Pillows very small - only 1 each. Not secure entry to ground floor. Very disappointed. For £70 a night we expected more.

    Having to give your credit card details 3 times....once on the internet, once on checking in and again at check out? In these times of credit card fraud, this is not good.

    Staff very helpful and good. Food was excellent.

    Took 3 goes to get a good room. 1st roomwas for a disabled person and the bathroom (bath area) had broken tiles. 2nd room was aboulutely stinking of vomit still a stain on the carpet where previous occupant had vomited. 3rd room was good. Outside stair way and path could do withg a good clean.
