  A friendly welcoming guest house with a warm atmosphere. Well presented, clean and a good location. The owners were friendly and welcoming. All you would want from a well run English. Hotel without the creaky floorboards. Better than a hotel.

  We usually stay in holiday cottages in different locations when we go on holiday, Decided to try Linden House after reading the reviews and true to word the owners were 200%, the service was excellent and can not thank them enough for getting the soya milk. If you are looking for somewhere were service is second to non than this is the place.

  This place is a delight to stay at,The accommodation caters for every need and the owners are extremely pleasant and helpful. Cleanliness is paramount throughout and the breakfasts are excellent..We stayed in the Garden room which was beautiful.

  Linden House is a gorgeous Victorian house with immaculate decor. The bed, pillows and linen were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous, made with very good ingredients. Fabulous hosts.

  En-suite shower could of been more powerful.

  Linden House proved ideal for our short break. The owners were very welcoming. The room (garden room) was very good - good sized bed, nice walk in shower, two comfortable chairs, good sized wall mounted television, view over garden, fluffy white towels, etc. Breakfast was also excellent - presented well, cooked perfectly and delivered with a smile.

  We did discuss what we could suggest to the owners for improvement. We couldn't think of anything and did communicate this to them. The garden room is exactly that and access is direct into the room from the garden. There is no internal, public access to the hotel. We enjoyed the feeling of privacy and would happily book the room again. It may not be everyones cup of tea.

  Impeccably furnished, spotlessly clean and attentive hosts.

  Not sure that this one merits a 5* rating. Just little things like the room being small and cold, and no toilet brush or soap in the en-suite. I have stayed in several 4* B&Bs that were superior - the New England in Eastbourne would be a good example.

  Graham and Tracey were extremely good hosts, making us feel very welcome. The finishing touches in the rooms exceeded what we were expecting. The decor in the rooms and the hotel were fantastic, and the breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet luxurious stay!

  A very pleasant stay ,wonderful host ,great room ,fantastic value and the best breakfast I have had In a long time , i,v been a chef for over 45years I wish my chefs took as much pride and care .

  I can sit here all day but can honestly say :it was pretty much perfect :the house is wonderful a lot of hard work and imagination has gone into this house,the care for detail shows how much passion has gone into Lindon house

  The hotel we normally stay in was closed, How lucky we were to find the Linden House, The property was immaculate, The breakfast was excellent it set you up for the day,Graham & Tracy were excellent hosts, From now on when we stay in Torquay it will be at the Linden House

  Very friendly staff, great welcome. The room was stunning and very comfortable. The breakfast was prepared quickly and was really yummy!! Would definately recommend and will also definately return for another stay.

  We loved the warm, friendly welcome which continued for the duration of our stay. The attention to detail pervaded every element of the experience, in particular throughout the tasteful decor, sumptuous fluffy towels, comfortable bed which was dressed with fine bedding, exquisitely presented tasty breakfast. An exceptionally clean hotle throughout! We considered the price excellent valued for money.
