  In general the hotel design and furniture are wonderful, in addition to that the security of the hotel, for accessing and getting out. Moreover, you can park your car Near to your room, which considered as one of the comortable things in our stay. Furthermore, at the entrance of the hotel there are lots of resturent as well as coffee shops. I plan to stay in same hotel on next visit.

  Although, my reservation is confirmed with particlure amount by the following ( by email from booking.com, I called the hotel one day before I reach & during my check in; on all cases the amount of my stay was the same with all)'- while I am checking out they asked me to pay more, since as advised they only put the rate for one night as confirmed reservation and for other two nights they were about to charge me more. As a result I spent more than 30 mins for the same. And I gave them hard copy of my reservation to clear this issue. Not only that, in the final bill in addition to the extra room rate, they asked me to pay for the ice cream and water that been taken from the lobby ( I never set in the lobby) by someone and he sign the bill with my room number. So that I noted that it's not me and signed on the bill. On the other hand I would like to thank the staff for their effort , support and cooperation to clear both issues.

  The quiteness and the huge studio (standard room) i had. It really so big with a kichenette adn balcony viewing the pool which was great.

  The staff arent that welcoming at first...found lots of accumulated dust underneath my bed!...The bedrooms weren't sound proof so had to wake up whenever someone beeped a horn.

  I liked the location of the hotel which combines both city life of Kuwait's shopping hub (Salmiya) and seaside proximity.

  They have completely ruined my honeymoon and my fiancé's birthday which I wanted to celebrate. I was really counting on Movenpick's truly 5 star reputation but was really disappointed. I was promised my room to be furnished with flowers and honeymoon package. This only took place the 2nd night. They brought the cake with no plates no forks knives. So had to call them. They brought the drinks - apple juice. It wasn't cold. Had to call them again! It ruined my celebration. The very same thing happened with the birthday except they forgot and had to wait for hours !! Room furniture was appalling. Old and worn out. Bathroom dirty. By the way I changed to sea view suite!! Breakfast was terrible. Not what you expect from even a 3 star hotel. Pancakes hard like biscuits. Hummus too salty. Taboola tasteless. Hot chocolate runs out quickly! Coffee was water with coffee! Juice not fresh. Eggs not cooked properly. I could go on and on and on!!

  I liked the parking and the surrounding restaurants and coffee shops. The 1ltr sparkling apple juice was a nice touch.

  I checked in to Room 2328, The toilet was dirty and worn-out and had a bad smell coming from the drains. The bathroom floor was greasy and wasn't clean. The fridge was noisy to the point it disturbed my sleep. The wifi was so weak and most of the time does not work. But I was able to manage for two nights , with exception to the breakfast which was a complete disaster, understaffed, the tables were not clean and we had to wait for long time to get seated. The table we sat on was so smelly (egg) and the food was so clod, the coffee was bad :(.

  Loby and the swimming pool Break fast is good but no food varity parking

  1- The color of the walles of th the rooms. Yallow color is not comfertable to eye or the relaxation or omotions. I recommeding painting the room s with white color 2- the funture is not new. The carbet is very old and small 3- Room service is not complete. Littel supplies are provided . 4- response to custoemr request is slow 5- lights is not enough in the rooms.

  My room was confortable and clean, very close to the swimming pool. The hotel facilities were very well maintained

  My room's main door was in front of a underground car parking, which was very noisy and the smell was unpleasant. We could not use the beach, as the hotel personnel said that the sea was contaminated?? This was not mentioned in the hotel website. Also, at the booking time, I requested a bath tube in my room, but I found a shower instead

  I requested a non-smoking room and they put me in a smoking room, I complained and they moved me to another smoking room that had a stronger cigarette smell but without the ash tray. I finally decided to move to another hotel and went to checkout just after two hours into my stay and they asked about the reason for checking out and I informed them about my problem being in a smoking room, they informed me that they have a room that is non-smoking and the guests just checked out (that was at around midnight) and needed to be cleaned. They finally moved me to the non smoking room at around 2:30 am. They gave me a plate of fruit as a compliment that is when I felt insulted. Normally, in five star hotels fruit plates are standard! I will not stay in another Mövenpick resort again.

  you park very closely to the room.amazing breakfast good location

  rooms were in bad shape, knobs missing off drawers,u couldnt use them, had to pay extra for slippers. it took well over two hours to get the room ready and was told it needed 10 minutes. room very very far from reception.

  Just the cafe shops nd restaurants nearby!

  The room furnitures and colour are old fashion and cheap! Absolutely not for pleasure and romantic although it has excellent beach and pool..but it wasn't as expected. It is only for very short stay if offering good rate. We planned to stay a week but we had to leave earlier, same night, to Marina Hotel!

  Great location , big resort, 5 swiiming pools, many restaurants 1 min walk from the hotel, good food.for breahfast (didnt have lunch/dinner), very big and spacious apartment, free internet access (with a cable).

  Missed the bidet in the toilets/toilet showers, better toiletteries would be appreciated. They have a bit old furnitures and no plasma TV, no DVD, no wireless in the apartment..

  If you are looking for perfect hotel then keep looking but if you want next to perfect then this is your hotel. The staffs, the rooms, the service all are excellent. Sleeping on the bed is like sleeping on the clouds, very comfy. The 2 rooms apartment are good for family and has big balcony. Next to the hotel number of restaurants.

  Movenpick is very clean, modern, room spacious, bed are very comfy, staffs are friendly and happy to assist you. The location is very quite even though the restaurant close by get filled with customers.

  Location is super ... walking distance to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. Staff are friendly and breakfast is super.

  Price is a bit high ... you have to go through security each time you enter and exist from the hotel.

  Wonderful location. Nice breakfast.

  A lot of noise because of the maintenance work at the hotel. It takes a long time for the valet parking staff to bring the car. Every time I enter the hotel, I have to stop at the gate for car inspection which is annoying.

  First time on my life happen in these hotel ( when I request extra bed they said you have to come to reception pay firt then you wil have extra bed , then I didn't go to reception and they did not provide the bed .During my check out they charge the amount of the extra bed on my final bill. Then after I explain to them that what happen they cancelled that amount from my bill)

  The room was tidy and the service excellent.

  The position is a bit far from the downtown so you need your car / taxi to move around. In addition the waterfront is wonderful but there isn't the sea you can imagine with sand and transparent water.
